My research lies at the intersection of machine learning, optimization, fairness, and AI and society. I am interested in building reliable decision-making systems that can learn from data while accounting for uncertainty, risk, and the people affected by algorithmic decisions. My current work explores these questions through applications in agricultural markets, public health, and resource allocation. I am particularly interested in how we can design AI systems that are not only effective, but also fair, robust, and responsible in real-world settings. I am also exploring AI safety as an emerging direction of my research.

About me
I am a researcher and software developer from Ghana with a growing focus on machine learning and AI research. My journey into research began with building software to solve practical problems, but I became increasingly interested in the decisions behind these systems: how data is used, how algorithms make recommendations, and how those decisions affect people.
My current research includes work on agricultural markets, where I use machine learning, market analysis, and optimization to study pricing, risk, and resource allocation for Ghanaian farmers. I have also worked on machine learning for health-risk prediction and computer vision-based waste sorting, giving me experience applying AI to real-world problems with limited and imperfect data.
These experiences have led me toward broader questions about fairness, reliable decision-making, and the social impact of AI. I am continuing to develop my research interests in machine learning and optimization while exploring how AI systems can be made more reliable, fair, and safe as they are deployed in increasingly complex real-world environments.
